Another big official visit weekend is on deck for the Yellow Jackets this weekend. Georgia Tech secured two commitments after last weekend's visits and they are hoping to have a similar result in the coming days.

After breaking down all of the offensive positions for the upcoming Georgia Tech recruiting class, let's turn our attention to the defensive side.

Let's start with a look at the top targets at edge for Georgia Tech in 2024.

Josiah Knight

DE Amontrae Bradford (Statesboro, GA)

Bradford took an official visit to Georgia Tech last weekend and has visits lined up for Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Indiana, and Kentucky. Bradford is a 6'4 230 LBS prospect that does have big potential and it would be a good pickup for Georgia Tech if they can land him.

Bradford is rated as a three-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite.

DE Josiah Knight (Havana, FL)

Knight is going to be visiting Georgia Tech and he is a former Cincinnati commit. He is scheduled to go on an official visit to Missouri this month as well.

"As a junior, got snaps all along the DL for Gadsden County, which competed in Florida’s 2S classification. Racked up 56 tackles (13 for loss), 11 QBH, 6 sacks, and 2 PBU. On offense, hauled in an 80-yard touchdown against Tallahassee Chiles while doubling as a tight end" (Per 247Sports Andrew Ivins).

Knight is rated as a three-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite.

Two names to know that have unofficially visited Georgia Tech are three-star edge Trashun Griffin (Centreville, AL) and four-star edge CJ Jackson (Tucker, GA). Both visited in April, but have not scheduled an official visit.

Bradford and Knight appear to be the guys to keep the closest eye on right now, but anything can change in recruiting. Watch for potential new offers and if Georgia Tech can get any momentum with them.
