First Georgia Tech Win Totals Line Released
Less than four months until Georgia Tech is kicking off the season against Louisville in Atlanta and Brent Key and the Yellow Jackets are hoping to win that game and be in the conversation to make a bowl game. If you trust Vegas though, they don't believe that Georgia Tech is going to be in such a position this year.
With Spring Football over, win totals at all of the major sportsbooks are starting to trickle out and the total for Georgia Tech was released at both Caesars and DraftKings and they are both on the pessimistic side.
At Caesars. Georgia Tech's win total is sitting at 4.5, with +105 odds to the over and -135 to the under. At DraftKings, the number is at 4, with the over at -115 odds and the under at +115.
That is currently the lowest win total in the ACC and in terms of national title odds, Georgia Tech is currently at +75000.
It is certainly a low number and if I were to pick a side, I would pick the over. I think games against South Carolina State and Bowling Green are layups and Tech might be favored in home games against Boston College and Syracuse. Win those four games plus a road trip to Virginia and you will have an over on the win total and just one shy of a bowl game.
There are plenty of questions on this team from who the starting quarterback will be to the pass catchers, how improved the offensive line will be, and how the defense replaces key players such as Keion White, Charlie Thomas, Ace Eley, and Zamari Walton. Head coach Brent Key got a lot out of this team last season and with the new staff he hired, making a bowl game should be the goal for the Yellow Jackets.
