Georgia Tech Weekly Recruiting Update: 5/2
Georgia Tech might not have added a commitment during this past week of recruiting, but there have been plenty of offers and one big visit from one of the top transfers in the transfer portal.
Let's take a look back at the week that was in Georgia Tech Recruiting.
1. 2024 Edge Tyshon Reed Jr (Colquitt County, GA) Offered by Georgia Tech
Reed Jr also has offers from Wake Forest, Minnesota, Northwestern, and Duke, among others.
2. 2026 wide receiver Mouhamadou Mane receives an offer from Georgia Tech
3. Four-star running back Johann Cardenas receives an offer from Georgia Tech
Cardenas is a four-star running back on the 247Sports Composite and also has offers from Texas Tech, Oregon, Kentucky, Colorado, and Vanderbilt, among others. Georgia Tech has one running back commitment for the 2024 class (Duke Watson).
4. 2025 defensive lineman Christian Garrett receives offer from Georgia Tech
5. 2026 wide receiver Kavon Conciauro receives offer from Georgia Tech
6. 2024 Three-Star Offensive lineman Terez Davis locks in an official visit to Georgia Tech
Davis is a 6-6 260 LBS offensive tackle prospect that also has offers from power-five programs such as Maryland, Virginia Tech, and Syracuse. He was offered on an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech on April 7th.
7. 2026 Athlete Zelus Hicks offered by Georgia Tech
8. Alabama transfer cornerback Tre-Quon Fegans visits Georgia Tech
Fegans was a 6'1 180 LBS four-star cornerback on 247Sports in the 2022 class and was the 117th ranked player nationally. Fegans tweeted that he has heard from Miami, USC, UCF, Ohio State, Penn State, Arizona, UAB, and Troy.
9. 2025 Five-Star wide receiver Andrew Marsh receives an offer from Georgia Tech
Marsh is rated a five-star prospect in the 2025 class by the 247Sports Composite and has offers from Auburn, Baylor, Michigan, LSU, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, TCU, Texas A&M, and USC, among others.
10. 2024 Three-Star offensive tackle Jameson Riggs has Georgia Tech in his top ten
Riggs attended Junior Day at Georgia Tech on January 14th and was offered by the staff last December. The other schools that are in his top ten include Ohio State, LSU, Clemson, Auburn, Duke, USC, Tennessee, Penn State, and Vanderbilt.
11. Four-Star cornerback Jalyn Crawford lists Georgia Tech in his top 11
The other schools in Crawford's top 11 included North Carolina, Florida, Miami, LSU, Texas A&M, Louisville, Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Auburn.
