Georgia Tech takes on Ole Miss this Saturday night

Georgia Tech is nearly 24 hours from kickoff against Ole Miss and one day before their big matchup with the Rebels, the Yellow Jackets decided to reveal the team captains for Saturday night.

This week the captains will be quarterback Haynes King, center Weston Franklin, defensive end Kyle Kennard, and linebacker Trenilyas Tatum.

King has been one of the best quarterbacks in the ACC this season, throwing for just over 600 yards, with seven touchdowns and one interception. He has played fantastic so far this season and will need to have another big game if Georgia Tech has hopes of knocking off Ole Miss in Oxford.

Kennard is fresh off of a great performance that earned him ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors. Last week against South Carolina State, Kennard had an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Franklin has helped pave the way for the Georgia Tech running game, which ranks in the top five of the ACC. Franklin is also the fifth-highest-ranked Yellow Jacket on offense on PFF (Pro Football Focus).

Tatum has started both games at linebacker and is currently third on the team in tackles with 10.
