Georgia Tech is 1-2 after a loss to Ole Miss on Saturday, but the Yellow Jackets have to get back on their feet quickly for a road trip to Wake Forest.

There were some positives to take away from the game, but also plenty of concern as well. The offense faced their toughest test against the Rebels and they played well. Haynes King continues to play well, the running game had its moments, and freshman receiver Eric Singleton continues to impress, catching his third touchdown of the year on Saturday night.

The bad news: the run defense continues to allow opponents to run all over them and the defense continues to give up explosive plays. Georgia Tech continues to have special teams miscues as well. Still, this team was only down a touchdown to a ranked team in the 4th quarter on Saturday and showed they have improved.

Saturday is going to be a massive game. If Georgia Tech wins, a path to a bowl game remains. If they lose, it is going to be very tough to make it with games against Georgia, Clemson, Miami, and North Carolina still on the schedule. Nothing is impossible of course, but those teams are going to be favored by at least two touchdowns over Georgia Tech. Brent Key's team is going to need to come out and take care of business.

Wake comes into this game 3-0, but they are lucky to still be undefeated. Old Dominion held a lead over the Demon Deacons, but Dave Clawson's team found a way to get back in it and pulled out the win. The other wins for Wake Forest were against Elon and Vanderbilt, so I think it is fair to say that Georgia Tech is the best team the Demon Deacons have played, especially on offense.

Here is all the viewing information you need for this week's game.

After opening as a touchdown favorite, Wake is now only favored by 3.5.

Betting odds per Si Sportsbook: Wake Forest -3.5; Over/under 60.5; Moneyline: Wake Forest -175, Georgia Tech +138
