Georgia Tech Weekly Recruiting Update: 4/10

Georgia Tech hosted a big group of talented recruits this past weekend

While Georgia Tech did not add a commitment to its 2024 recruiting class this weekend, they handed out new offers and held some of the top prospects on their board over the weekend.

The Yellow Jackets currently have the 25th-ranked recruiting class on 247Sports and are working hard to add to it during the coming months.

Let's recap the week in Georgia Tech Recruiting:

1. New offer to grad transfer

Georgia Tech has offered Princeton grad transfer, Connor Scaglione. He was a starter for Princeton last season.

2. Multiple visits for Georgia Tech during the week

The Yellow Jackets hosted several recruits this week, including some of their top targets.

Georgia Tech has been hosting a large number of visitors each week and this was no different. There was one visitor this weekend that stood out among the rest though...

3. No. 1 Defensive End in the 2024 class visits Georgia Tech

Elijah Rushing (Tucson, AZ) is the No. 1 defensive end in the 2024 class and is being pursued by a lot of top programs around the country. Rushing took time Friday to come and visit Atlanta and the coaching staff and give credit to both defensive lineman Marco Coleman and head coach Brent Key for getting a number of top defensive linemen on campus this spring.

4. Georgia Tech offers a New 2024 Quarterback

While Georgia Tech does have a four-star quarterback committed in the 2024 class, they are still sending out offers to other 2024 quarterbacks and it could be a two-quarterback class for Georgia Tech. The offer was to Graham Knowles, a 6'7 QB from the state of Texas.

5. 2025 Five-star receiver Caleb Cunningham will visit Georgia Tech this weekend...

Caleb Cunningham is a five-star receiver and one of the top players in the class of 2025 and he will be visiting the Yellow Jackets this weekend.

6. Top Georgia Tech target Kylan Fox (Grayson, GA) drops his top six schools list...

Georgia Tech is working hard to bring in one of the top players in the state of Georgia and this week, four-star tight end Kylan Fox dropped his top six schools and the Yellow Jackets made the cut. Fox trimmed his top schools list from 15 to 6.
