How did Georgia Tech's commits perform on Friday night (8/25)?

All 26 Georgia Tech commitments were in action on Friday night

It was another busy night in high school football around the country. All 26 commitments in the 2024 class for Georgia Tech played last night. The Yellow Jackets currently have the 27th ranked class on 247Sports and that is 5th in the ACC. 

So how did they perform last night?

  1. CB Troy Stevenson (No. 270 OVR in 247Sports Composite)- Stevenson helped lead Philip Simmons High School (SC) to a win this week against St. James, 41-30. Stevenson and Philip Simmons are 2-0 so far
  2. DE CJ Jackson (No. 193)- Jackson plays for Tucker High School (GA), who are 1-0 heading into today's matchup with Southwest Dekalb.
  3. OT Jameson Riggs (No. 640)- Riggs plays for Hiram High School and he helped lead them to a 38-14 win over Woodstock last night. Hiram is now 2-0. 
  4. WR Isiah Canion (No. 240)- Canion and Warner Robins High School (GA) lost a tough game against Lee County last week and are back in action next week.
  5. WR Koby Young (No. 502)- Young plays for Holy Cross High School (LA) and they are 2-0 after beating Belle Chasse last night 
  6. DT Marcus Downs (No. 601)- Downs plays for Riverside High School (SC) and they are 1-1 after taking a loss to J.L. Mann last night 
  7. DE Jordan Boyd (No. 762)- Boyd is one of the most underrated edge rushers in the country and he plays for Aiken High School (SC). They are 0-2 after losing to Appling County last night. 
  8. CB Trajen Greco (No. 39.1)- Greco had a huge week one performance against North Gwinnett and Greco and Mill Creek defeated Norcross last night 27-13 and Greco is now 2-0 this season. 
  9. ATH Luke Harpring (No. 1158)- Harpring and Marist High School (GA) took a loss to Gainesville last week, but they bounced back with a 42-14 win over Pike Road last night. 
  10. QB Aaron Philo (No. 786)- Philo plays for Prince Avenue Christian High School (GA) and they had a big 42-13 win last week over Hammond and they followed it up with a 42-0 shutout against Nashville Christian. 
  11. WR Trey Horne (No. 675)- Horne played a big role in Rabun Gap's (GA) win last week against Baylor. Rabun Gap defeated Sequoyah 39-6 last night to get to 2-0. 
  12. S Christian Pritchett (No. 1298)- 
  13. RB Jaedon Matthews (No. 1061)- Matthews is one of three running back commits for Georgia Tech and he plays for Saguaro High School (AZ). They defeated American Leadership Academy this week 49-35
  14. TE David Prince (No. 1412)- Prince had a great game in a win over Statesboro High School last week. Glynn Academy is now 2-0 after beating McIntosh County Academy 14-6 last night. 
  15. QB Graham Knowles (Np. 901)- Graham plays for Southlake Carroll High School (TX) and they won big in their first game of the season against Eastwood, 70-21.
  16. OL Jordan Floyd (No. 685) and RB Trelain Maddox (No. 896)- Marshall and Maddox helped Parkview (GA) to a big win last night over Shiloh 60-0. Parkview is now 2-0 this season. 
  17. OL Santana Alo-Tupuola (No. 1309)- Tupuola and IMG Academy are 1-0 heading into the Saturday matchup with St. Joseph's Prep
  18. TE Lane Wadle (No. 1630)- Wadle plays for Greenfield-Central High IN) School and they are 2-0 after their win against Greensburg this week.
  19. DE Trashun Griffin (No. 1465)- Griffin plays for Bibb Country (AL) and they are 2-0 after their 32-21 win over Chilton County last night.
  20. DB Nehemiah Chandler (No. 1057)- Chandler plays for Wakulla High School (FL) and they are 1-0 after beating Chiles this week.
  21. LB Demontrae Gaston (No. 1095)- Gaston plays for Pensacola Catholic High School and they're 1-0 after beating Navarre 34-27 this week.
  22. DE William Depaepe (No. 1080)- Depaepe plays for Moline Sr High School (IL) and they begin their season with a 17-12 win against Glenbard North High School this week.
  23. DT Landen Marshall (No. 950)- Marshall plays for Andalusia High School (AL) and they begin their season with a 42-8 win over Opp.
  24. LB Tah'j Butler (No. 1380)- Butler plays for Edna Karr High School (LA) and they begin their season this Saturday against Kennedy.
  25. RB Khamani Alexander (No. 1428)- Alexander plays for Belen Jesuit Prep (FL) and they defeated Calvary Christian Academy 16-14 last night.
