It was not a perfect performance by the Georgia Tech defense by any means, but the Yellow Jackets got the job done and defeated South Carolina State 48-13. Georgia Tech allowed 291 yards against the Bulldogs, including 196 on the ground. Defensive end Kyle Kennard came up with two big turnovers for the defense and unsurprisingly, finished as the highest graded player on the defense according to PFF (Pro Football Focus).

One area of concern though: the tackling is still a big issue for the defense and is going to allow better teams to score points on them. That is something that still has to be addressed, especially with a big test against Ole Miss this weekend. The snap count is in parentheses.

How did Georgia Tech grade out on defense on PFF?
