BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Jared Casey is the latest Hoosier to enter the transfer portal.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker spent two years at Indiana after beginning his career at Kentucky. He has one year of remaining eligibility.

Casey appeared in eight games during the 2022 season and made 18 total tackles. His role decreased during the 2023 season, appearing mostly on special team. He made three tackles all year, each of which came in the season finale against Purdue. 

In the class of 2019. Casey originally committed to Kentucky as a four-star recruit, ranked No. 322 in the nation out of Ballard High School in Louisville, Ky.
