Eli Cox named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week thanks to his performance against EKU
Kentucky offensive lineman Eli Cox was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after his performance against EKU.
Offensive line play is going to be a big part of the success of this Kentucky football team. If the Cats want to have a good season, the Big Blue Wall needs to be the dominant force it has been for a while, aside from last season.
Cox's ability to float all over the offensive line is what makes him such a good player, and while I foresee him protecting the quarterback on Sundays in the future.
Cox is a real leader on this team and represented Kentucky well at SEC Media Days in Nashville.
Kentucky fans have to love seeing the local kid having a good game for the Cats and receiving Offensive Lineman of the Week honors from the SEC.
If Kentucky is going to win nine or more games this season, it will come down to Cox and the rest of this Wildcat offensive line.
