The Cats need to feed running back Ray Davis.

In this story:

Kentucky has one of the best running backs in the SEC in Ray Davis, and he needs the carries to support that statement.

Kentucky has run the football well over the last few seasons thanks to guys like Benny Snell Jr. and Chris Rodriguez Jr., and now that baton has been passed down to Davis.

In his first two games rocking Kentucky blue, Davis had 14 and 12 carries, giving him a total of 26 on the year.

On those 26 carries Davis has rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns, giving him a whooping 6.3 yards per carry.

This says to me the Cats need to get him the ball more so he can eat.

Davis needs to be fed the ball early and often. If this happens, it will make the offense flow better, and the arial attack will be more efficient.

Hopefully, when we get into SEC play, Davis will get 18+ carries a game as the Cats look to have another successful year.
