Wake up, Big Blue Nation; the Cats have a must-win football game in Starkville, Mississippi, today.

The Cats have struggled against Mississippi State on the road during the Stoops era, so this is a big football game. Kentucky hasn't won in Starkville since 2008.

Kentucky has to win this game and the South Carolina game to secure seven wins on the season, but both of these games are on the road and won't be an easy task.

Mississippi State has been right there with Vanderbilt as the worst team in the SEC this season, but Kentucky needs to go take care of business, or the Bulldogs could hang around.

Their offense is awful, but the defense is serviceable, so the Kentucky offense will need to score points, and the defense will need to hold Mississippi State to very few points.

This football game is a must-win as Coach Stoops and his troops need to come back to Lexington with a victory.
