The Kentucky Wildcats are one of many high-profile programs in pursuit of Isiah Harwell, a 6'6 combo guard from Wasatch Academy in Utah who is currently ranked No. 7 in the class of 2025.

Harwell recently announced his first official visit will be in February of 2024 to Spokane to watch Gonzaga take on Saint Mary's. Harwell is from the same high school as Nolan Hickman, a former Kentucky commit who ended up going to Gonzaga and is entering his junior season with the Bulldogs.

However, Harwell's recruitment is still wide open, and he told Travis Branham of 247Sports that he is working on setting up an official visit to Alabama and has been in contact with Kentucky as well.

"They are trying to get me on campus," Harwell said of the Wildcats. "And then, other than that, they have been seeing what my schedule is like so they can get out to see me."

Kentucky has plenty of targets already in the 2025 class, including the Boozer's - Cameron and Cayden - who visited in late September, as well as five-star point guard Darius Acuff Jr. from IMG Academy, who just visited Lexington last week.

Still, Harwell is well worth the pursuit for Calipari's squad, and he could reclassify to the 2024 class and give the Wildcats a boost a year early if coach Cal can work his magic and pull the big guard away from Gonzaga and Alabama on the recruiting trail.
