Notre Dame Recruiting Roundup - March 11th /

With spring preview having started for Notre Dame, the offseason is looking to heat up quickly. We have already seen potential 2025 and 2026 recruits visit campus, with a whole lot more to come.

Let’s recap everything you need to know in Notre Dame recruiting from this past week. From visits, to a new offer and even some 2024 NFL Scouting Combine mixed in, there is plenty to keep your attention.

RECENT RECRUITING NEWS

April is going to be a very important month in terms of recruiting for Notre Dame, already having set up several big time visitors. While the month of March isn’t quite as hectic, there are still some very important recruits set to travel to South Bend. Here are some of the more important visitors in March.

Key Notre Dame targets keep finalizing visits to South Bend for this offseason. One big visitor will be 2025 Geneva (Ill.) Community pass catcher Talyn Taylor, who has been on campus a ton. This will be a very important trip as we get closer and close toward a commitment for Taylor.

For the third time, Notre Dame will be welcoming back 2026 Lake Mary (Fla.) High School quarterback Noah Grubbs later this month. The Irish have been trending in a great direction with Grubbs, who is one of the more natural passers in the 2026 class.

This past Thursday, Notre Dame opened up spring practice and had several recruits on campus. One of them was 2026 Country Club Hills (Ill.) Woodcrest defensive lineman McHale Blade, who is a very intriguing local standout to keep a close eye on. Another member of the 2026 class, Naperville (Ill.) North defensive lineman Gabriel Hill also got his first feel of South Bend.

Another player who was on campus is 2024 Mendota Heights (Minn.) St. Thomas Academy offensive lineman Robbie Wollan, who announced he is joining the team as a walk-on.

Although Notre Dame already holds commitments from 2025 running backs Daniel Anderson and Justin Thurman, they are still pursuing star Shreveport (La.) Calvary Baptist runner James Simon. The Louisiana native included the Irish in his top seven school list.

Not recruiting related but Irish Breakdown was at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine recently. On Monday, I put together a full recap of the event and how the former Notre Dame standouts performed in Indianapolis.

RECRUITING INTERVIEWS

After Grubbs mentioned he had solidified a return visit to Notre Dame, he gave deeper insight into how the Irish program is trending with him. They certainly seem to be in great early standing.

When you talk about elite recruits in the 2026 class, Mobile (Al.) St. Paul’s Episcopal defender Anthony Jones is on the short list of notable performers. Notre Dame is beginning to turn the heat up and develop a deeper relationship with Jones. Look for that to continue moving forward.

NEW OFFER

Here is the new offer added to the board for Notre Dame this week.
