"Madden 24" may want to edit Garrett Wilson's 84 spectacular catch rating.

The second-year New York Jets wide receiver is showing the NFL crowd everything that Ohio State fans were already aware of: Wilson's pretty good. The latest example came at Jets practice Sunday when Wilson leapt into the air, made an acrobatic over-the-shoulder, two-handed grab, extended the lower half of his body back into the end zone and toe-dragged both feet down in bounds for a touchdown.

The acrobatic catch captivated social media audiences everywhere, including grabbing the attention from a former longtime teammate of Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

"These 2 bouta act up this year," Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams said in an Instagram story.

Wilson stepped in as a rookie and showed he's one of the smoothest route-runners in the NFL, gliding through his breaks and turning around defenders.

The Austin, TX. native caught 83 passes for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns in 2022 en route to AP Offensive Rookie of the Year honors despite having a less-than-desirable quarterback situation.

Now that Wilson has Rodgers throwing to him, those numbers could spike from the top-20 marks they already were.

ESPN's Dan Orlovsky said the fade-or-go route combination between he and Rodgers will be the determining factor in whether or not Wilson can become a "1,500-yard wide receiver."

"If Garrett Wilson and him completely get that route on the same page and basically unstoppable," Orlovsky said. "He will become a top-five receiver in this NFL and completely change how dynamic and explosive the New York Jet offense is."
