Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback commit Prentiss "Air" Noland debuted his 2023 Georgia football state championship ring Sunday on Twitter.

The massive, diamond-ladden ring features a green football outline with the Langston Hughes High School logo in the center. The words "State Champions" flank each side of the football, and Noland's name is written on the side in silver letters.

Noland led the Langston Hughes Panthers to a 35-28 victory over the Gainsville Red Elephants on December 9, 2022, at Center Parc Stadium.

The Fairburn, Georgia native threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns in the game, two of which came in the final minute of the first half. Those two late scores cut the Gainsville lead from 17 to three and gave Langston Hughes some much-needed momentum going into halftime.

“This game is based off momentum,” Noland said at the time. “And I feel like we had the majority of the momentum the whole game. Momentum is a big carrier and a big key in the game.”

The triumph over the Red Elephants gave Langston Hughes their first-ever 6A state football championship and gave Noland some closure from the end of the prior season.

As a junior, Noland and the Panthers suffered a 21-20 defeat against the Buford Wolves. Langston Hughes missed what would have been a game-winning, 30-yard field goal late in the contest to give Buford the victory.

Noland announced his commitment to Ohio State on April 8, choosing the Buckeyes over Alabama, Clemson, and several other major football programs from which he had offers.
