2024 Three-Star IOL Joseph Cryer Announces Commitment to Ole Miss Rebels

The Rebels gained their ninth commitment of the 2024 recruiting cycle on Friday night.

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels landed their ninth commitment of the 2024 recruitment cycle on Friday night when three-star interior offensive lineman Joeseph announced his pledge via social media. 

According to On3's recruitment database, Cryer is rated as the No. 32 player in the state of Louisiana and No. 81 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound lineman is in Oxford this weekend for his third official visit as he was previously at Ole Miss on April 4 and April 29.

First-year Ole Miss offensive line coach John Garrison offered Cryer in March. The Many, La., native committed to the Rebels over programs including the Mississippi State Bulldogs, LSU Tigers, Arkansas Razorbacks, TCU Horned Frogs, Missouri Tigers, Oklahoma State Cowboys, and Memphis Tigers. Cryer is Ole Miss' first offensive line commitment of this cycle.

Cryer, nicknamed "Big Hoss", is set to play his final season of high school football at Natchitoches Central High School. With the addition of Cryer, Ole Miss' 2024 recruitment class is rated as No. 19 in the country and No. 11 in the Southeastern Conference, according to On3.
