Morning Report: Rebels Secure Transfer Defensive Backs, Thanksgiving Egg Bowl Returns
Welcome to the Morning Report, a piece from The Grove Report that highlights the news from the day surrounding the Ole Miss Rebels.
Today is May 26, 2023, and here's the news you need to know out of Oxford.
1. Ole Miss grabbed two defensive backs out of the transfer portal on Thursday night.
The Rebels secured commitments from Jadon Canady (Tulane) and Justin Hodges (UCF) on Thursday, but some injury question marks could keep one of them off the field in 2023. You can read more at the links above.
2. Kickoff time for the 2023 Egg Bowl has been set.
Ole Miss and Mississippi State will remain on Thanksgiving Day this season with a broadcast on ESPN that evening.
3. Ole Miss men's golf has added a graduate transfer to its ranks.

4. Sacramento Kings showed some love to former Rebel Terence Davis.
