Oregon WR Commit Dillon Gresham Sees Big Jump in Updated Recruiting Rankings

The 2024 San Jacinto (Calif.) wide receiver is one of the best offensive players in his state.

2024 San Jacinto (Calif.) wide receiver Dillon Gresham committed to Oregon back in May following a phenomenal junior season--catching 90 passes for 2,051 yards and 31 touchdowns (according to Maxpreps).

"It truly felt like home," he said of why he chose the Ducks. "It was a feeling decision too. I could tell when I stepped on campus at Oregon. From how the coaches showed their hospitality and everything. It was the place to be."

Now four games into his senior year, he's been recognized as one of the biggest risers in On3's updated rankings for the 2024 class.

The 6-foot, 175-pound pass catcher jumped 71 spots, vaulting from the No. 211 overall player to the No. 140 player.

One of the other biggest risers was 2024 St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers wide receiver and Ohio State commit Jeremiah McClellan, who the Ducks also recruited, moving from No. 127 to No. 181.

Gresham has long been praised for his speed, big-play ability and the ease with which he gets behind the third level of opposing defenses. He committed to the Ducks over Arizona and Washington among his 14 reported scholarship offers and may be one of the under-recruited gems that Junior Adams uncovered this cycle.

He's one of three wide receivers the Ducks have landed a verbal commitment from in 2024, along with Newport Beach (Calif.) Newport Harbor standout Jordan Anderson and Under Armour All-American selection Jack Ressler from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei.

Through four games in 2023, Gresham has caught 21 passes for 310 yards and 4 touchdowns.
