PITTSBURGH -- No. 16 Miami is dealing with an injury to one of its best players ahead of its crucial matchup in the season finale against the No. 25 Pitt Panthers.

With the top seed in the ACC Tournament on the line, Miami head coach Jim Larrañaga doesn't know if Nijel Pack, who has started all 27 games he's played in this season for the Hurricanes and has made 41% of his 166 attempts from 3-point range this season, will play against Pitt.

Larrañaga said Pack had been limited in practice this week with an injury to his lower extremity. Pack missed the Hurricanes' last game against Florida State, a brutal last-second loss at home that took them out of the driver's seat for the ACC's top seed. The highly-touted Kansas State transfer is the team's fourth-leading scorer at 13.6 points per game.

Pitt can lock up the top seed in the ACC Tournament by knocking off the Hurricanes for the second time this year. If not, they risk falling out of the top four seeds and losing their double-bye.
