PITTSBURGH -- Kenny Pickett takes every opportunity to visit his old friends at the practice facility his current team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, share with the Pitt Panthers.

This offseason, when he's poked his head next door to check out the Panthers, Pickett can't help but get excited about what's in store for them this season.

"I always try to pop over there and see what those guys have going on so I'm really excited about them," he said in an appearance on 93.7 The Fan. "They have talent everywhere like they always do and it's just about putting it together and finding who those leaders are and everyone else follows suit."

He believes the Panthers have all that it takes to emulate what Pickett and his teammates accomplished in 2021, when they won 11 games and captured the first outright ACC Championship in school history.

"I feel like the sky is the limit for them," Pickett said. "I really do. I think they have everything they need to go win a championship."
