17 Seniors Walk on Pitt's Senior Day

The Pitt Panthers honored its seniors before their final home game of the season.

PITTSBURGH -- Ahead of their contest with the Boston College Eagles, the Pitt Panthers honored their seniors as part of their Senior Day festivities. 

The Panthers have 12 players on the roster who are out of eligibility and thus will be playing in the final home game of their collegiate careers on Thursday. That group, all of whom were commemorated, includes David Green, Phil Jurkovec, Malcolm Epps, A.J. Woods, Marquis Williams, C'Bo Flemister, Shayne Simon, Jake Kradel, Blake Zubovic, Tyler Bentley, Devin Danielson and Malcolm Epps.

In addition to that contingent, five of Pitt's seniors with remaining eligibility walked during pre-game activities while retaining the right to continue their collegiate careers next season or test the NFL waters. That group included Bub Means, M.J. Devonshire, Josh Junko, Brandon George and Matt Goncalves. 

Among the seniors who opted not to participate were Deandre Jules, Daniel Carter, Nate Temple, Karter Johnson, Buddy Mack III, Dante Caputo, Jason Collier Jr., Dayon Hayes, Bam Brima and Ryan Jacoby.
