Pitt Contacts Former Five-Star WR Jordan Hudson
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are eager to find a new wide receiver or two through the transfer portal this spring after losing four wideouts to graduation and the transfer portal itself.
The Panthers' search has led them to a former five-star recruit in TCU transfer Jordan Hudson. According to a report from On3 recruiting insider Hayes Fawcett, Hudson has heard from Pitt in addition to Colorado, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arizona State, Utah, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Georgia, Penn State, Auburn, West Virginia, SMU and others.
Hudson was rated a five-star recruit by On3 and four-star by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals coming out of Garland High School in Texas. He was ranked as high as the No. 3 player in Texas, the No. 2 wide receiver in the class of 2022 and No. 15 player overall. He appeared in 14 games and caught 14 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns last season as a freshman.
