Pitt WR Myles Alston Enters Transfer Portal
PITTSBURGH -- After losing two wideouts to the transfer portal last season, the Pitt Panthers got even thinner at wideout this week, when sophomore Myles Alston announced that he would enter the transfer portal.
Alston announced on his personal Twitter account that he would leave Pitt at the end of the semester to find a new school where he can use his final three years of eligibility.
Alston was rated as a consensus three-star recruit coming out of Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia and was considered a top-25 recruit in his state for the class of 2021. He spent his freshman season in a redshirt after he enrolled in school early and participated in spring drills. Alston saw his first action this past season, appearing in seven games as a reserve wideout and special teamer.
