PITTSBURGH -- Post-pandemic football has been a mightily strong era for Pitt Panthers football. They've won 20 games over the past two seasons and finished in the top 25 twice while collecting an ACC Championship and New Year's Six Bowl berth as well.

That success on the field has translated into the NFL Draft, with Pitt having the 10th most-draft picks of any team in college football over the past three years with 14, tied for Notre Dame. Only Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Florida, Oklahoma and Cincinnati have seen more of their players drafted. No one in the ACC has more.

That group is headlined by Calijah Kancey and Kenny Pickett, who are the first pair of Panthers to be selected in consecutive first rounds in 15 years.

But there's been plenty of depth as well. The Panthers have seen three fourth-round picks, three fifth-rounders, two sixth-rounders and four seventh-rounders come from their program.
