Former Pitt WR Scores Wild TD for Vikings
PITTSBURGH -- Former Pitt Panthers star and current Minnesota Vikings receiver Jordan Addison gave his team a much-needed boost during the second half of their Week 15 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Early in the third quarter, Addison found himself on a crossing route in single coverage. Despite nearly being sacked, quarterback Nick Mullens was able to get the ball out to his wideout, who scooped it before hitting the ground while a defender was also making a move for the ball.
After securing the catch, Addison took the reception 37 yards to the house, marking his first touchdown since Week 8.
The catch brought Addison's game total to four receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals. The Vikings currently sit 7-6 with a chance to sneak into the postseason and still potentially claim the NFC North.
Coming into the game, Addison recorded 56 catches for 713 yards and seven touchdowns.
