PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are a contender for a blue-chip wide receiver, who released a list of top 10 schools this week. 

2024 Four-star wide receiver Jason Robinson Jr., a native of Long Beach, California, included Pitt in a list of the programs leading his recruitment alongside Utah, Notre Dame, Colorado, Florida State, Cal, Penn State, Washington, Syracuse and USC. 

Robinson, who attends Long Beach Poly High School, received his first offer from the Panthers two years ago when he was a freshman. Ever since, he's picked up offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Georgia, Miami, Nevada, San Diego State, TCU, Washington State and Western Kentucky in addition to the schools included in his top 10. He's visited Colorado, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Penn State this spring. 

Robinson is ranked as high as the No. 23 player in California (Rivals) and No. 41 wide receiver in his class. The 5'10 and 145-pound wideout is originally from Houston, Texas.
