Pitt Lands 2024 WR Tyreek Robinson
PITTSBURGH -- With National Signing Day in the rearview mirror, it appeared that the Pitt Panthers' Class of 2024 was, for the most part, finalized.
Pitt never let up in their search to add more talent to the class, however, which materialized on Sunday as WR Tyreek Robinson committed to the program.
Robinson isn't currently rated by any of the major recruiting services. The 5'10 and 163-pound playmaker hails from Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana. He received his offer from the Panthers on Dec. 18 which was followed up by a home visit from new offensive coordinator Kade Bell this week. Robinson then took an official visit this weekend before announcing his decision.
Robinson received additional offers from Central Michigan, Southeastern Louisiana and Texas State. According to MaxPreps, he recorded 885 receiving yards on 55 catches and 19 total touchdowns as a senior. He joins three-star Cameron Monteiro as the only two wide receivers in Pitt's Class of 2024.
