PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers made what appears to be a final cut for a four-star athlete who plans to commit soon.

Koy Beasley, a blue-chip safety, corner and wide receiver, released a list of his top four schools that includes Pitt alongside Rutgers, Purdue and Wisconsin. He will make a final decision on June 28.

Beasley's third visit to Pittsburgh is locked in for the first weekend of June. He had already visited last September and in late March. From there, he'll head to Wisconsin the following weekend and Purdue the weekend after that. Beasley has already been all around the country, taking visits to Georgia, USC, Cincinnati, Kentucky, West Virginia and Notre Dame.

A consensus four-star prospect from Cincinnati, Ohio by way of La Salle High School, Beasley is ranked as high as the No. 4 player in Ohio and No. 3 athlete in the class of 2024. ESPN ranked him the No. 7 player in Ohio and No. 11 athlete in his class.
