PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are looking for a second piece to add to a 2024 recruiting class that currently has just one player committed in four-star guard Brandin Cummings.

One of the players they're hoping will join Cummings in their 2024 high school recruiting class is Austin Swartz, a 6'5, blue-chip shooting guard from Concord, North Carolina who attends the Concord School. Pitt extended an offer late this week.

Swartz is a unanimous four-star prospect, with On3, ESPN and 247Sports all ranking him as a top-10 player in North Carolina (in fact, On3 has him pegged as the No. 1 player in the state) and a top-100 player in his class. He's ranked as high as the No. 7 shooting guard (247Sports) and No. 28 player in the class of 2024.

Also holding offers from Clemson, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, NC State, Tennessee, Georgetown, Illinois, Houston, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Mississippi State, St. John's, Penn State, UConn, Miami, Florida State, Maryland, Indiana, Seton Hall and others, Swartz has visited the Bulldogs, Gamecocks and Wake Forest over the past two years.
