PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers can add another name to the lengthy list of 2024 recruits headed to the Steel City this summer for official visits.

Sam Cooper, a 2024 athlete from Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania who attends Conwell-Egan High School, announced on Twitter that he will be in Pittsburgh to see the Panthers for the second time this spring.

Cooper, who plays both running back and defensive back, earned an offer from safeties coach Corey Sanders and Pitt back on the first day of March. He currently holds offers from Syracuse, Army, Navy, UConn, James Madison, Akron and others. He's also visited Boston College last fall.

Rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and ESPN, Cooper is also ranked as high as the No. 21 player in the state and No. 75 athlete in the class of 2024 (ESPN).
