PITTSBURGH -- It didn't take long after he picked up an offer from the Pitt Panthers for Mason Lindsay to schedule a visit to Pittsburgh. And in keeping with that theme, he won't take much time after his visit is over to make a commitment.

Lindsay, a three-star offensive lineman from Hyattsville, Maryland who attends powerhouse DeMatha Catholic High School, has announced that he will commit on June 7 at 3:00 pm, just three days after his official visit ended.

While he holds just one three-star rating from Rivals, the junior lineman has picked up plenty of Power 5 offers since last season.

Nearby Maryland was the first Division I school to extend an offer last July and Boston College, West Virginia and Virginia Tech followed on the same day. UConn, Wake Forest and Duke also expressed some interest. Charlotte, Maine and Elon offered as well before Pitt threw their hat in the ring with an offer of their own earlier last week.
