PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers continued to add to their outstanding 2024 recruiting class this week with the addition of a three-star linebacker from Florida.

Miami native and Norland High School standout, Jeremiah Marcelin named Pitt to his top three alongside Louisville and Maryland earlier this week and three days later, he choose the Panthers as the program he'd commit to.

Marcelin is unanimously considered a three-star prospect. On3 ranks him as high as the No. 66 player in the Sunshine State, while Rivals and 247Sports have him pegged at No. 85 and No. 101, respectively. Rivals also ranked him the No. 36 linebacker in the class of 2024.

He cut an impressive offer sheet that included Tennessee, Auburn, Stanford, Florida State, Miami, UCF, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Kentucky, Syracuse and others down to those select three.

He is the third linebacker to commit to the Panthers' 2024 class, alongside four-star Cameron Lindsey and three-star Davin Brewton. 20 players have announced their commitment to Pitt and two more have yet to reveal themselves.
