South Carolina's Football team is taking on a well-balanced Florida Gators squad this upcoming weekend. What do the numbers say about their SEC foe?

This robust defensive performance, especially against the pass, could be a deciding factor in the upcoming game.

Billy Napier and the Gators have a record of 4-2 this season and stand at 2-1 in conference play, having suffered a blowout loss to Kentucky and put together an upset victory over Tennessee. Despite the Gators' strong performance, the oddsmakers have labeled South Carolina as a slight favorite at home. Furthermore, ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) gives the Gamecocks a 57.4% chance of securing the victory. This game promises to deliver high-stakes football, with both teams seeking to bolster their records and make a statement in the SEC.
