BREAKING: South Carolina - Missouri Game To Kickoff In The Mid-Afternoon
The Shane Beamer-led South Carolina Gamecocks have gotten used to playing night games at home and on the road, having played eleven games at 7 PM ET or later since the start of the 2022 season. However, their streak of three straight home night games will come to an end this week against the Florida Gators, and that will continue when they play Missouri at 3:30 PM ET in week eight.
South Carolina has lost their last four meetings against the Missouri Tigers. The Gamecocks have also never defeated the Tigers' head coach, Eli Drinkwitz, who has been a part of each of those wins, as mentioned earlier over Carolina, and also beat the Gamecocks in 2019 while serving as the head coach of the Appalachian State Mountaineers.
Last season, the Tigers surprised the Gamecocks in Columbia, SC, dominating the game from start to finish due to their ferocious pass rush that succeeded both through winning one-on-ones and their scheme. Shane Beamer and company will look to turn the tide in this series in what will be the second straight revenge game opportunity for his football team after they play the Florida Gators this upcoming Saturday afternoon.
