Jalewis Solomon Sets Official Visit Date With South Carolina
The Summer is expected to be a hectic time for South Carolina Football and its coaching staff. The team has flooded its calendar in the upcoming months with unofficial and official visits from several prospects in the next three high school graduating classes. One of the busier upcoming weekends is the first weekend of June, which already has a full slate of recruits coming to Columbia.
Another visitor has been added to the first weekend of June for the Gamecocks. Jalweis Soloman, a 2024 athlete and Georgia native, announced on social media that he will be taking an official visit to Columbia that weekend.
Though he is premiered prominently in his high school's offense as a wide receiver, the Gamecocks are pursuing Solomon for his talents at defensive back. In his junior season, Solomon totaled eight pass breakups and five interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.
Being one of the more physically developed athletes in the class of 2024, Solomon has received attention from multiple programs nationwide. Teams such as Alabama, USC, Michigan, Georgia, Oregon, and Ohio State have offered the four-star, making him one of the most sought-after recruits in his class.
