4-Star RB Peyton Lewis Has South Carolina In His Top 6
Salem Virginia native, running back, Peyton Lewis revealed his top choices via 336 edits on Twitter. Lewis's top six includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Penn State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The class of 2024 running back is ranked the number 1 overall player in the state of Virginia and 176th overall per average of all major recruiting sites. Lewis is also ranked the 8th best running back in the nation per, ESPN. Currently, South Carolina is the desired destination for the 6-foot-1, 190 pound tailback, per On3's recruiting prediction machine.
South Carolina is the only school Lewis has set for an official visit thus far. He visited Columbia last on March 17th and will be back in Columbia on June 23rd. In an Interview with On3 he shared these thoughts on how his March visit went.
“I had a perception of what South Carolina was like and what they’re about, but after really visiting that image has exploded for me and really just kind of painted that picture for me, so the visit was very beneficial for me and definitely Top 2 in my offers so far,” he said.
