In an exclusive interview with Quaysheed Scott, the talented Kentucky commit from South Carolina, we gained valuable insights into his thoughts on the recent offer from the Gamecocks, his college decision, and his aspirations to represent his home state school.

When asked about his feelings upon receiving an offer from the Gamecocks, Quaysheed's response was brimming with enthusiasm. He said,

"I felt great, knowing that my home state school is looking at me."

Moving on to the impact of the Gamecocks' offer on his college decision, Quaysheed revealed,

"I feel like it's a 50/50 chance now because I've been patiently waiting for the USC offer."

Delving into the factors that will weigh heavily in his decision-making process,

Quaysheed shared that these aspects are personal but will play a pivotal role if he considers flipping to the Gamecocks.

In a follow-up question, we asked if he had always aspired to play for the Gamecocks before receiving the offer. Quaysheed's response was an emphatic

"Yessirr, I did!" This deep-seated desire to represent his home state adds emotional weight to his decision.

Quaysheed also revealed his strong connections to the Gamecock family. He proudly shared that he is the cousin of former Gamecock cornerback Cam Smith, now making waves in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins. Additionally, he's related to Gamecock standout defensive tackle TJ Sanders, who's been making headlines with his outstanding performance so far this season.

Regarding his interactions with South Carolina coaches,

Quaysheed mentioned Coach Clayton and Coach Gray as the coaches he has been communicating with the most. They have expressed their interest in him as a defensive back, a position they envision him excelling in if he were to join their team.
