LOOK: Gamecock Commits Make Last Pitch To Keylen Adams Ahead Of Decision
Over the next several weeks, South Carolina's football program will see several targets make their decisions. Shane Beamer and his staff are of course hoping to land the majority of these players, including a wide receiver from Virginia in Keylen Adams. Adams has taken two unofficial visits to South Carolina in recent months, one back on May 12th that seemed to put the Gamecocks squarely in the thick of the race and another one on June 2nd, where he was joined by Gamecock commits Mazeo Bennett and Dante Reno.
Mazeo, and especially Dante, have been noted for their recruiting efforts with fellow Gamecock targets in this 2024 cycle, and Adams is of particular importance due to the fact that Bennett is currently the only wide receiver commit for this cycle and the Gamecocks are set to lose multiple wideouts from their 2023 squad. When you combine that importance with the potential Adams offers as a possession-type receiver, South Carolina is pushing really hard in the recruitment's waning moments.
Dante Reno, Mazeo Bennett, and offensive line commit Kam Pringle all tweeted at the Virginia native on Sunday afternoon, making sure the rising senior understands how much he's wanted by South Carolina.
Keylen Adams will make his commitment this coming Thursday.
