Gamecocks Make Final 4 For 2024 ATH Zy'marion Lang

South Carolina's Football program has made the latest cut for 2024 athlete and Florida native Zy'marion Lang.

If there's one position group on South Carolina's Football team that's set to see a mass exodus after the 2023 season, it's the wide receiver position. Veterans like Xavier Legette, Ahmarean Brown, Eddie Lewis, and Dakereon Joyner are all expected to fully exhaust their eligibility, while Antwane "Juice" Wells will likely move on to the NFL as long as his season goes according to plan.

To get ahead of this, Justin Stepp, Shane Beamer, and the rest of the offensive coaching staff have looked to land multiple receivers in this current cycle, having secured the commitment of in-state receiver Mazeo Bennett and setting themselves up well with other targets in Jonathan Paylor, and Keyeln Adams. Another receiver prospect to watch is Zy'marion Lang out of Palmetto, FL, as he took an unofficial visit to Columbia on March 18th. On Monday evening, Lang released his top four schools and included the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The Gamecocks are joined in this final grouping by the Pittsburgh Panthers, Kansas State Wildcats, and the South Florida Bulls. Zy'marion has only taken one official visit to this point in his recruitment, which was to Pittsburgh back on June 22nd, so it'll be interesting to see how the rest of Lang's recruitment pans out.
