Where The TCU Horned Frogs Went In The 2023 NFL Draft
This weekend, eight TCU Horned Frogs were drafted into the NFL. Another five signed as undrafted free agents (UDFA) shortly after Mr. Irrelevant was selected. Quentin Johnston headlined the group, being drafted in the first round, while Max Duggan wrapped up the selections in the seventh round. TCU sat behind just Alabama and Georgia for the most players selected in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Astoundingly, five of the eight draftees are headed to LA to play for either the Rams or Chargers while a sixth heads to California to play for the San Francisco 49ers.
Where did all 13 TCU Horned Frogs end up?
8 TCU Horned Frogs Selected In NFL Draft
The 2023 TCU draft class shattered school records, with eight players being selected. Previously, the record was the 2001 class, where six Horned Frogs went in the draft (since 1970). Even TCU's legendary 13-0 team in 2010 had just five players picked.
Johnston became the 17th first-round pick from TCU and the third first-round receiver in seven years. Steve Avila didn't wait long after the first round to come off the board, being picked 36th by the Los Angeles Rams – a continuing trend of Horned Frogs heading to LA this year. Kendre Miller wrapped up the Day 2 TCU selections as he heads to New Orleans to play for the Saints.
The final five players heard their name called on Day 3 of the draft, culminating in Duggan being drafted with the 239th pick to the Chargers.

5 More Horned Frogs Sign As UDFA
Five additional TCU Horned Frogs may not have heard their name called during the NFL Draft, but they'll have their chance with an NFL team this summer. Alan Ali and Emari Demarcado headline the group, being signed by the Vikings and Cardinals, respectively. Taye Barber, Gunnar Henderson, and Lwal Uguak also signed with teams shortly after the draft.
