2026 five-star quarterback Jared Curtis (Nashville, Tenn.) has been a long-time target of the Tennessee Volunteers, and he cut his recruitment down to six schools on Saturday.

The state of Tennessee has produced top national quarterbacks over the past few years, and the next big national name is on the rise. 2026 Nashville Christian School quarterback Jared Curtis is the No. 2 signal caller in the cycle, and the Vols have already made recruiting him a premium priority, as have several other top programs.

Curtis cut his recruitment down to 10 schools in September, and after finishing his sophomore season, he decided to cut things down even further. He's now down to six schools: Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.

The Vols offered Curtis after a camp showing at the conclusion of his freshman season, and it was only a matter of time before he got it. Curtis threw for 2,285 yards and accounted for 34 touchdowns in his freshman season. He stands 6-3 and 215 pounds with a live arm, downfield touch, and movement skills. Curtis backed up his strong freshman performance with an even better sophomore campaign. He accounted for 3,065 total yards and 38 touchdowns in his sophomore year and was once again one of the top signal callers in the state.
