Four-Star OG William Satterwhite Commits To Tennessee
It had been a rough few days on the recruiting trail for the Tennessee Volunteers. They lost out on several long-time targets, including two one of the offensive line. However, that all ended when four-star offensive guard William Satterwhite (Akron, Oh.) chose the Vols over Clemson, who made a major push toward the end of his recruitment.
Satterwhite becomes the fourth offensive lineman in Tennessee's 2024 class. He joins Max Anderson, Gage Ginther, and Jesse Perry with several other major priorities looming. The Vols are working on four-star offensive tackle Bennett Warren (Sugar Land, Tx.) and hope to become more of a contender for five-star offensive tackle Brandon Baker (Santa Ana, Calif.). Offensive line coach Glen Elarbee has put a lot of effort into this cycle and is beginning to reap the rewards.
The Ohio native lives in what is usually Big Ten country, but two major programs in the southeast identified him early and wanted him in their classes. That should speak volumes about who Satterwhite is on the field. He immediately becomes one of their top recruits on the interior and bolsters a class that needed more help in the offensive line group.
