WATCH: Texas Longhorns RB Keilan Robinson Returns Kick For An Electric Touchdown Against Texas Tech

The Texas Longhorns are in the midst of a huge game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

The No. 7 Texas Longhorns are hosting in-state rival and Big 12 foe Texas Tech for their final season of the 2023 regular season, and for what is their final regular season game as a Big 12 member.

As they have been doing for this past month, the Longhorns blew their opponent out of the water in the first half. The score was 26-7 at the half, and had the Longhorns not had a few drives stall out in the red zone, they could have led by even more. With better starts to the second half on their mind, it was senior running back and former Alabama transfer Keilan Robinson who got the party started to open the half.

The speedy running back returned the opening kickoff of the half for a 95-yard touchdown.

The score extended Texas' lead to 33-7, and may be the perfect start to the half that the Longhorns have been missing.

Texas running back Keilan Robinson (7) runs the ball in for the first touchdown of the game, past the Texas Tech defense, during the first quarter of the Longhorns' game against the Red Raiders, Friday, Nov. 24, 2023 at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin.

The touchdown marked Robinson's second of the day, as he also rushed in a score earlier in the game. The Texas defense shut down the Red Raider offense on their opening drive forcing them to punt for what was the sixth time of the game.

However, the true Test to see if Texas is playing a complete game is how the offense does when they get the ball, as head coach Steve Sarkisian has been prone to taking the foot off of the gas pedal. Something that has plagued Texas for the last month or so.
