Alabama faces off on the road against Texas A&M in a battle for first place in the SEC West, while in the East defending champ Georgia looks to avoid having another slow start against resurgent, undefeated Kentucky. And it all begins with the Red River Shootout between 5-0, playoff-hopeful rivals Texas and Oklahoma. Let the games begin.

College football Week 6 picks

Syracuse at North Carolina: A unanimous decision in favor of the Tar Heels to stay the course at home against the 1-loss Orange.

Notre Dame at Louisville: All four analysts side with the Fighting Irish to win on the road against the undefeated Cardinals, although guest picker Baker Mayfield predicted an upset.

Purdue at Iowa: Four predictions in favor of the Hawkeyes, now without quarterback Cade McNamara, to take down the Boilermakers.

Maryland at Ohio State: As expected, the Buckeyes received all the votes from the panel to take down the undefeated, offensively-inclined Terrapins.

Washington State at UCLA: The Bruins are favored on the books by 3 points, with Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit in agreement, although the two other analysts picked the Cougars.

Colorado at Arizona State: Expect the Buffaloes to get back on track this week against a seemingly overmatched Sun Devils squad, although Lee Corso picked ASU to win.

LSU at Missouri: Herbstreit was the lone vote in favor of Missouri to pull off the upset against the defending SEC West champs.

Kentucky at Georgia: A unanimous pick in favor of Georgia to stay undefeated at home and keep their three-peat hopes alive against the SEC East challenger Wildcats.

Alabama at Texas A&M: Three out of four on GameDay pick the Crimson Tide to pull it out on the road, although Desmond Howard favors the Aggies.

Texas vs. Oklahoma: Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee both picked Texas to defeat the Sooners, and of course Baker Mayfield sided with his alma mater, Oklahoma.

Lee Corso's Headgear Pick: Texas over Oklahoma
