Thursday was the greatest day possible for the Halos. They made it known that Shohei Ohtani would be staying in Anaheim. Then they traded for Lucas Giolito in a true statement that they were going for the playoffs. Then Friday hit, and the weekend opener didn't go well.
Giolito made his Angels debut, but the Halos lost 4-1 to the Toronto Blue Jays.
