As free agency kicks into high gear, the Angels front office and fans alike are wondering where star pitcher and designated hitter Shohei Ohtani, who had an unprecedented stellar season in 2023, will sign in free agency.

Ohtani will likely command upwards of $500 million but the Angels are reportedly "all-in" on re-signing their star player.

In other news, new manager Ron Washington will not be joined by former Angels star Torii Hunter, who interviewed for the managerial position and had been rumored to be taking over as the first base coach for the Halos. However, he did have two new coaches join the squad on Saturday.
