The Padres won 4-1 over the St. Louis Cardinals Monday night at a time where each win merits a small celebration as the Friars desperately need them if a playoff push is even the slightest possibility.

The Padres combined for 12 hits and Blake Snell, who continues to look like one of, if not, the best pitcher in baseball, pitched 7 innings and allowed just 2 hits and 9 strikeouts.
