Cavs Not Talking To Kevin Love About Buyout
The NBA trade deadline has officially come and gone without the Cavs making any moves. This includes the organization holding onto power forward Kevin Love after reports surfaced that other teams were contacting them about his availability.
Love recently fell out of the Cavs' rotation in favor of Dean Wade so it wasn't like he has been a vital part of the team on the floor so a trade wasn't out of the question.
There was a feeling that if Cleveland did not trade Love that the two sides may try and reach a buyout of some sort with it being his last year on the contract.
However, that no longer appears to be the case as Koby Altman said there have not been any discussions between the two about a buyout.
It seems like the story has been reoccurring over Love's time in Cleveland with it always ending in the same outcome. That's K-Love staying in a Cavs uniform.
This time around it appears that the story will end the same. However, we all know things can move fast in the NBA transaction world.
