Multiple Of Cavs Trade Targets Already Off The Table Ahead Of NBA Trade Deadline
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been linked to a long list of small forwards and guards ahead of the NBA Trade deadline. There's no secret that the team is looking for an upgrade at the wing in order to make a strong playoff push this season.
However, their options are beginning to run thin after a number of trades went down on Wednesday evening, the eve of the deadline.
Malik Beasley, Josh Hart, and Cam Reddish were all reportedly connected to the Cavs in one way or another. However, each of them is already off the table after being involved in different trades.
Beasley was part of the three-team deal with the Lakers, Jazz, and Timberwolves that ended with him in Los Angeles. Hart and Reddish were ironically traded for one another in a deal between the Knicks and the Trail Blazers.
There are still other players that Cleveland has been interested in that have not been moved yet. One of these players is Tim Hardaway Jr. However, the Mavericks may be reluctant to trade him after acquiring Kyrie Irving a few days back.
The one player still on the table that makes the most sense fit-wise is Bojan Bogdanovic. It almost feels inevitable that he will get moved somewhere with the Pistons being well out of any sort of playoff picture and the value they can get for him.
Cleveland is either aggressively talking to other teams to get a deal done or has seen this as a sign to stay put at the deadline. The second option is one they are alright with doing.
